It’s Bayelsa’s Turn to Produce NDDC managing Director — By Egbe Emi

Bar Tari Pori in case you have forgotten our slogan remains “Resources control and Self Determination by any means necessary.” I wonder how we can successfully get resources control when we can’t collectively stand for little things that even belong to us as a people due to political affiliations and sentiments

Ijaw youths in Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Central Zone, Bayelsa State, will not negotiate the issue of tenure elongation in NDDC with any one outside it shores. It’s the turn of Bayelsa State to produce the Managing Director and we must produce the MD. It’s not a matter of PDP or APC,and we don’t care to know who takes this office, in the state whether cripple or monkey; let the position come to us, it’s our turn.

Bar Tari Pori who is the Chairman of Ijaw Youths Council Central Zone, may be against the issue of Bayelsa State producing the MD due to political influences, he is kicking against it at his own detriment.

We frown at the way and manner Barr. Tari Pori has brought his legal profession so petty to kick against justice and fairness, against the collective interest of his people whom he swore an oath to protect during his inauguration as chairman of Ijaw Youths Council Central Zone.

Our Activist Mummy Annkio Briggs and Bar Oweilaemi Pereotubo with his National executive council and all the thousands of Ijaw youths that went for that protest at NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt are on track, based on the protest against the current leadership of NDDC. They just spoke the minds of one million Ijaw people and Bayelsans. It’s our turn and we must produce the Managing Director of NDDC in Bayelsa State.

Bar Tari Pori in case you have forgotten our slogan remains “Resources control and Self Determination by any means necessary.” I wonder how we can successfully get resources control when we can’t collectively stand for little things that even belong to us as a people due to political affiliations and sentiments.

The projects and water Hycent contracts are just baits in NDDC, of which we are equally entitled to, hence we won’t for go the the office of the Managing Director which belongs to us now because of them.
