BLACK VALENTINE’S DAY: EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS OF THE ACCIDENT THAT CLAIMED THE LIVES OF SOME BAYELSA WOMEN

“On my way to Yenagoa from Port-Harcourt last night between the hours of 7:30 and 8:00pm, I witnessed this gory sight of a fatal accident involving a Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota Sienna and Toyota Hiace bus respectively. It has happened on the highway between Elele and Ahoada.

 

The worst hit was the Toyota Hiace bus, whose occupants,except one lady, were burnt beyond recognition. At the time this eyewitness got there he saw the two bloodied vehicles (Toyota Sienna and Nissan Pathfinder) and the burning Toyota Hiace bus with the occupants burnt to char. May the souls of these departed victims and those of other faithful rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen.” -Pakribo Telema-Daregoe, A Eyewitness reports.

 

Another Eyewitness,  Tari X. Torunana-Tuatongha also wrote

“FGA I saw the accident too. The bus was totally burnt. There was such a terrible traffic owing to the accident. I pray that God comforts the families of the deceased. Twas a trgedy. Didn’t sleep well at all!”

 

So far, only one survivor has been reported from that crash.
